Fei is an artist based in Oxfordshire, England, who specialises in representational portraiture and illustration.
After studying in a traditional art school Barnes Atelier, she began her artistic journey with coloured pencils, which can produce a high-level of precision, and a striking oil-painting feel. Then she started to paint in oil and explore other mediums as well.
Her work has been selected and shown in the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA) Rising Stars exhibition, and the Federation of British Artists (FBA) Figurative Art Now exhibition.
A believer in the power of storytelling through art, she also produces illustrations. Her work was commissioned by a media outlet, and several music albums.
People have always been the main focus of Fei’s art. With a keen interest in depicting people’s faces, she loves character design and try to bring out the stories behind every eye and every expression.
